2009-10 Club Officers display some of the hot books for this year. Check out the recommended books in our famous book club bookmark at left. The bookmark is published at the end of each year highlighting the best books reviewed and rated by the membership. This year's officers are (left to right) Sergeant of Arms Olivia, Secretary Isabel, President Jake, Sergeant of Arms Charlie, and Vice President Lucy. President Jake was last year's vice president and has shown exceptional leadership talents. Arroyo Vista's book club meetings are run 100% by the elected officers. AV Library Tech Linda Moore is club counselor and host.

Professional authors and illustrators sometimes drop in for a slurp, too. We have a good book time in the library the first Friday of every month.

GUESS WHO? Club book reviewers sometimes come as their favorite character from the book. They can act "in character" to explain the book or even recreate an important scene. It's all about communicating the concept at Book Club.
